I'm using snlm216a.zip as IBIS model. and I try to understand the 16 differents GPIO drive strength available:

is it related to MAC signals impedance selection? :

If yes, what is the relationship between the 16 driver strenght and the 32 differents value of impedance available in MAC_IMPEDANCE_CTRL register ?

Hi Thierry,

Yes, there is a relation to the MAC signals impedance selection. I will need about a week to look into the relationship between the 16 GPIO models and the MAC impedance selections.

Hi Theirry,

The model in the IBIS file correspond to the 4 Most Significant Bits in the model.

For instance, the GPIO_1000 would be around 50 Ohms.
