Hello,

i need a information about a thermal parameter. I look for the maximal allowed junction temperature of this device.
Or as alternative paramater a maximal allowed case-temperature.

the datasheet gives only some thermal-resistance-values, but not the corresponding limit values.

Who can help? Best way will be a official statement/paper fro TI, because i need it for UL-Typetests.

Hi Christian,

It should be 150C - if you look up the part number on the qualification summary page https://www.ti.com/qualificationsummary/qualsumm/home?actionId=2800 there are two tests - - a temperature cycling test and HSTL that both put the device under 150C conditions. You can download the quality summary there. That is probably the closest to an official statement you are going to get without going through an official field sales rep, and even then I don't really know how likely it is, as you really won't get that from our forums.
