    Hi Nozomi,

    I've tried to go into our internal database to find the older/original datasheet but it looks like it isn't in our system. I'm thinking this part may have been part of the National Semiconductor acquisition in 2011 and may not have been loaded into our system. Without the datasheet, it is a bit difficult for me to make a suggestion. My guess (I recommend you double check this first) is you can take a look at the A version of this device (SN75ALS172A).

    Are you able to provide what voltage, data rate, number of receivers/transmitters, and full duplex or half duplex set up you need?
