    Hi JW,

    Sorry for the late reply. I check with the team internally and they don't have the detail calculation on 60mils length matching between CLK and data traces for RGMII interface. They mention that is a general rule of thumb that we recommend customer to design with on the layout. However you are correct on the point where RGMII setup up and hold time are the main factor that we care about.

    We do have register internally within the PHY that could tune the setup and hold time between CLK and data lines for RGMII interface. The main reason that we ask customer to have more precise length matching because we want to give customer more accurate delay through the register.
