DP83TC812EVM-MC: MDIO

Hi,

1. Please send me a picture of how you are connecting the Arduino to the EVM. See section 4.3.4 of SNLA431 for decoding the MDC/MDIO signals.

2. Maximum MDC speed is 20Mhz. There is no minimum speed.

I found the solution from your mention. Clock shape problem of Arduino. so I reduced speed of clock from 500 to 125Hz.

It's working about Write and Read of MDIO. 

Which data I have to send?   to make sleep in TC10 ? 

I sent the data (Reg Address: 0x018c, Data: 0x0002) via USB2MDIO SW and EVB went to sleep mode well.

Want to make sleep in TC10, which data it will be sent to MDIO  bus from external MCU, 

USB2MDIO Reg Address is 16bit, but MDIO Spec of Reg Address is 5 bits.

I read MDIO data from Arduino

0x018C = 0x0002 will send the sleep command, yes. Looks like you are able to read and write without issue. Let me know how I can further assist.

Send Write frame from External MCU to EVB. (captured signal between arduino and EVB MDIO signals)

but not to go sleep mode . need your help.

Register 0x18C is an extended register which must be accessed using the procedure given in section 8.4.15 of the datasheet. The write sequence should be as follows:

1. 0x000D = 0x001F
2. 0x000E = 0x018C
3. 0x000D = 0x401F
4. 0x000E = 0x0002
