Hi,
Command Byte is described in Table 7-4 of the data sheet.
When written in the command byte, it is "01h", but when written to the Output Port register, it is "02h".
In the configuration described in the command byte, it is "03h", but when written to the configuration register, it is "06h".
Both are written as if the bits are off. Could you please tell me which one is correct?

These figures were copied from the datasheet of the TCAL6416, which has two bytes per register. Table 7-4 is correct.

Clemens is correct here- I have taken note of this bug and it will be updated in the next datasheet revision of the TCA6408.
