DS250DF230: Need to help to find TI retimer device in SIGCON tool

Hi Lucas,

I've downloaded from TI website and installed SIGCON tool snlc066b - Please confirm whether this is the latest version of this tool?

When I opened the installed tool, I'm seeing the following window, where I couldn't find the option showing the device we use - DS250DF230. Could you please help us track it? Where should we find the option to select the device? I've just opened the tool in 'Demo mode', as we're yet to receive the board.

Is it like we can see the device in the GUI only when the board is connected?

Also, could you please share the latest updater file for DS250DF230 retimer and USB2ANY interface software?

Hi Vimal,

Thanks for reaching out regarding DS250DF230. The DS250DF230 SigCon GUI is actually targeted at our SigCon Architect 2 release. Because of this, I would recommend downloading and installing the "SigCon Architect With RTEv2.0.0.8". I've linked this below.

I've also granted you access to DS250DF230 design resources. This includes a device profile for DS250DF230. Please close SigCon Architect while you install the profile. After installation, you should see a new device profile. You can use this profile for DS250DF230.

Could you also share the driver file for USB2ANY interface adapter to be installed in PC while connecting the USB port in PC to DS250DF230 device in the board?

Hi Vimal,

I have not had to install a specific driver for USB2ANY. I believe necessary packages are typically installed when SigCon Architect is installed.

Is the USB2ANY device not being recognized? Sometimes there is a need to reflash the device if it was somehow reset or not flashed correctly. This can be done through the USB2ANY explorer tool. Typically a window will pop up asking if you want to flash the device.
