ONET8501P: Noise Behavior

We're looking for more information about noise behavior of the limiting amplifier within the ONET8501P. Is an RMS level of noise referred to the input available? [Pretty common for a limiting amplifier] Or referred to anything else? Or noise power?

Hi Andrew,

I've checked and was not able to find data showing noise measurements for ONET8501P. Havin said this, noise measurement setup used for other parts would be similar to the measurements for ONET8501P. Typically with inputs open we AC couple on the output and then use a filter (10GHz for example) and measure power.

Hi Nasser.

Sorry for the delay in response. I appreciate the guidance on how to take the measurement but we lack the a spectrum analyzer so I think we are out of luck. Marking as resolved even if I'm not the biggest fan of how it was resolved. :-)
