Dear Support Team,
We are using TUSB212IRWBR USB2.0 Re-driver IC in our design.
Could you please confirm what is the maximum post-channel insertion loss (dB) with 1 meter cable?
Thanks,
Deepika

Hi Deepika,
For the TUSB212, please use the table below. It provides information regarding the amount of gain provided to a signal when it is boosted by the redriver at certain EQ and DC Boost settings, and the maximum pre/post-channel length that can be additionally supported with this gain.
For an application with a 1 meter post-channel application or a 2-meter pre-channel application, this should be supported by an EQ setting of 1 and a MID DC boost setting.
As our USB redrivers can be passively placed over any USB2 traces without directly interfering with the trace, the redriver does not introduce any insertion loss into the system.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Ryan
