DP83867CS: DP83867CS Ping Issue

Thank you for going over the debug guide.

Based on the observation, it seems like the issue occur on the SGMII communication. If possible, could you share the register 0x0037 value you read on DP83867PHY?

If you are not able to see SGMII auto-negotiation complete through register 0x0037[1:0], please try MII loopback as next step with register 0x0000bit[14].

We got 0x000 while reading 0x0037.

We tried writing 0x0000 for MII loopback, still we didn't got ping working.

We are getting very less amplitude waveform from the PHY. I attached image for your reference.

PHY SGMII Output (Pk-Pk - 176mV)

PHY SGMII Input (Pk-Pk - 696mV)

May I ask for SGMII connection setup or schematic?

Based on the scope capture, SGMII output is not expected. 176mV is too small on the SGMII output.

If possible, may I also ask for the probe position on SGMII communication?

SGMII Connection is working now, it was due to dry solder issue in the PHY.
