EDID for what exactly? Are you using 949 HDMI as a SER in this system?

EDID info comes pre-programmed into the 949 internal SRAM it's provided in the datasheet.

If you need a different EDID for a custom panel then you'll need to extract the EDID from your custom display (See red arrow) then reprogram new EDID into Serializer. 

How to program different EDID into 929 or  949 is provided below.
