DS91M040: DS91M040: Unused input pins.

If a transceiver in this device is unused is it safe to leave the DI pins unconnected?

nRE has a 300k pullup (defaults to receiver disabled)

DE has a 300k pulldown (defaults to transmitter disabled)

For DI - There is no mention of pullup or pulldown in the datasheet.

Is it safe to leave DI unconnected if the transmitter is disabled?

I am very short of space around the device so want to minimise resistors etc on pins.

"For the unsed channels I recommend the following connections.

DE = GND (MLVDS Driver disabled)

RE# = VDD (MLVDS Receiver disabled)

The inputs and outputs of the channel can all float."
