TDP142: CEC/I2C-bus translator

Tool/software:

We are looking for a CEC to I2C converter chip and we came to know the TDA9950 from NXP. We are not getting more details or the product status.
We greatly appreciate your feedback in order to identify a suitable part for the CEC functionality, as our host processor does not support it.

Hi,

As stated in the reference link, this is accomplished by using a different microcontroller. Are there any other viable options besides using a different controller? (CEC to any kind of converter)

Since our existing processor does not currently have this capability, is there a readily available component that functions as a CEC converter? Could you please assist me in implementing the CEC converter?

Unfortunately we do not have a dedicated CEC to I2C converter in our product portfolio.

Hello Chisto,

I am sorry that we don't have CEC to I2C converter chip. But we can implement CEC to I2C bridge function using MCU, such as MSP430 and M0. Maybe it is also a good choice for you.
