In the sequence show above it seems that the DSI clock is not in HS state

This depends on what sleep mode means. If sleep mod means that the input signals will stop transmitting data, but the DSI84 remain powered. Then simply follow the video stop restart sequence. If in sleep mode the DSI84 is removed from power, then the full initialization sequence is required.
