ONET1101L: Laser CW mode of operation settings

Hi,

We have a laser which we want to drive with ONET1101L in Continuous wave (CW) mode. How do I make the modulation 0? Is it right to connect them to the ground? IS there any other setting to do that?

Can anyone please suggest.

Hi Nanjunda,

There is a residual 10mA of modulation current and thus we cannot operate with 0 modulation.

Hi Nanjunda,

The only the other part that i can think of is ONET1151L; however this part has 5mA of minimum modulation current.

Hi Nasser,

I'm looking for 0mA modulation current. Modulation will create issue where you need pure CW.

Please let me know if there is any pure CW driver.

How about the part : ONET1141LRGET ?

The datasheet says that the modulation can be disabled?

Can you please explain?

There is 100uA bias current when driver is disabled. Would this be ok for your application?
