Hi All,
I have a question about the DS90UB913A EVM.
www.ti.com/.../snlu135b.pdf
If I'm not using power over coax, is it okay to design it by deleting the part in the red box below?
Also, R80's 49.9 Ω is only implemented for DOUT-, but is it also necessary for DOUT+?
Is R80 only necessary when using power over coax?
Best Regards,
Ishiwata
Hi Ishiwata,
Yes, the red box items can be removed if not using PoC.
R80 is the termination resistor for the DOUT- trace. This is necessary when using Coax cabling and is not used on the DOUT+ trace.
Best,
Zoe
Hi Zoe,
Thank you for your reply.
I understand that R80 is not necessary when transmitting differentially.

Ishiwata
