Will TPD1E01B04 have the Parasitic capacitance impact to DS90UB953-Q1 if customer add it on DOUT+? If yes, how to calculate it?

Hello Abin,

For TPD1E01B04 (and it's automotive variant TPD1E01B04-Q1), they provide as low of a capacitance as possible for ESD diodes currently on the market. We want the ESD diode to provide minimal capacitive loading on the high-speed channel, to minimize impact on the signal integrity of the high-speed channel.

It is fine to use the TPD1E01B04 component in an FPD-Link channel. Just keep in mind that the component idoes not have a high DC voltage rating and may not be suitable to apply PoC voltage. Please ensure it is placed behind the AC coupling capacitors and away from the DC voltage.
