Hi TI team,
TUSB320 can work with 3V3 VDD input.
Now we want to support 5V/3A output. Regarding the datasheet, we increased the VDD to 5V. But now it doesn't work.
Please help check what's going on. The boot sequence is as follows.
Hi Pakho,
1. How are you enabling the type-C VBUS? Typically this is done with a VBUS switch that is controlled by the TUSB320LAI ID pin. I see in your design that ID is No-connect. Make sure that the VBUS is only enabled after the CC negotiation is complete or it can cause issues.
2. Can you show the CC1/2 and VBUS waveforms at the point of attachment?
we increased the VDD to 5V. But now it doesn't work.
Is the TUSB320 not able to establish a connection at all? Or is the issue that the CC pins PWM is not what you expect for TRY.SRC?
Best,
Shane
