Tool/software:
Dear Texas Instruments Team,
I am reaching out regarding the TS3DV642-Q1, a 6-Gbps 12-Channel differential 1-to-2 and 2-to-1 multiplexer. We are considering this component for our upcoming project, which involves switching between cameras on an Android-11-based tablet. Given the requirements for reliable and high-speed switching between multiple cameras, this part seems promising.
We would like to know if there is an existing HAL layer implementation available for the TS3DV642-Q1, or if there is support for integration with Android projects, especially for Android-11. Additionally, if there are any examples or documentation for Android-based applications utilising this component, we would appreciate access to those resources to better understand the compatibility and integration process.
Your guidance will be instrumental in helping us decide on the suitability of this component for our project.
Hi Mohammed,
The TS3DV642-Q1 will work in your application as a 6Gbps mux, but we do not have any HAL layer implementation as this is a mux.
For the most part only three settings will be used.
We do not have any source code or examples of this working in an Android ecosystem, but as this is a passive mux I see no issue using it in that application.
