Hi, I trying to integrate the DS160PT801X16EVM in my PCIe communication setup. Thus, the Evalboard is connected to the host device of my pcie link and in its up stream is connected to an X2 PCI add_in card. The eval board wokred only with x16 and I could not get it to work with 2 lanes only. Is it possible to enable only one retimer and use X2?

Is the system setup using only the first two PCIe lanes which are connected through the DS160PT801 retimers for this x2 configuration?

Hi David,

Yes, I have an x2 add-in PCIe card that is plugged into the x16 PCIe slots of the retimer eval board and I want to configure it for two lanes only
