DS90UB947-Q1: 947/948 display flicker

DS90UB947-Q1: DS90UB947-Q1 screen flickering when working high temperature environment 600h

Tool/software:

Hi team, 

customer use DS90UB947-Q1 in an IVI project and find that there is screen flickering when working high temperature environment 600h. And customer conduct ABA test, the problem follow DS90UB947-Q1. For now there is only one problemed chip. 

I would like to checking with you that whether DS90UB947-Q1 can continue work in 85C environment for 1000 hours?

If Yes, could you help to provide your comments for this case to find the root cause? 

test condition: power on at room temperature about 25C, then put the PCBA into incubator and setting the temperature as 85C, after about 20min the temperature will ramp up form room temp to setting 85C, let the PCBA run under 85C for 1000 hours.

    Hi Darren,

    Is this issue repeatable on that chip? And could you tell us how many were tested before finding issue with this one chip? 

    And when this flickering occurs, is there lock drop? Does doing a soft reset to the SER stop the flickering issue?

    Also, this could be related to workarounds/errata applied that limit the temperature range. Could you please share the script?
