Hey Clemens,

I'm following up from this E2E post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1449114/sn65mlvd040-how-does-the-failsafe-feature-work

If there is no driver is driving the bus, VP (positive side) and VN (negative side) will discharge from bus and VID of receiver will be eventually become zero volt. What will happen to MVLD040’s receiver’s output?

When xFSEN is low (type 1), the output depends on the last value (effectively random), but the input's hysteresis prevents it from oscillating.
When xFSEN is high (type 2), the output is low.
