Hi All,

I have a question about the configuration of DS90UB913A and DS90UB914A.

Is it possible to use DS90UB913A and DS90UB914A in a repeat configuration as per the DS90UB925 datasheet?

If it is possible, I am concerned that the PLL jitter will increase, but are there any other precautions I should take?

Hi Ishiwata-san,

Thank you for your question. Do you have a block diagram for the requested application? Normally when replicating video streams, specific CSI-2 deserializers can replicate video to multiple CSI-2 ports.

Hello Shuji,

I have seen in some applications this kind of a repeater is used without any issues. However, not 2 repeaters in series but just one. This is something that you may need to try if you have the design already.

You can use these devices as a repeater similar to the provided block diagram. However, we do recommend using the pair DS90UB933-Q1 - DS90UB934-Q1 for enhanced performance.
