TSWDC155EVM: USb device driver problem - Windows 11

Part Number: TSWDC155EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS9219EVM

Tool/software:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am working on TSWDC155C EVM - ADS9219EVM test setup. This setup is working well on Win10 computer, not on Win11 computer. It seems that the USB device driver has not been loaded properly.

The following can be seen in the Device Manager upon power up,

After Initialize USB is performed in the ADS92XX_EVM_GUI, the following can be seen,

On working Win10 computer, Texas Instruments Sparrow Device is listed as shown below,

Is the ADS92XXEVM-GUI-installer-v2.1.exe supports operation on Win11?

Is there any extra device driver that needs to be installed?

Kind regards,

Panneer Raja Vajravelu

  • Hello Panneer Raja,

Thank you for posting on the E2E forum!

Could you please attempt to update the Cypress Boot loader driver? Instructions are similar to the ones on the ADS9219EVM Users guide or a similar process can be found in the this FAQ. The later is for a different controller and the former is a bit outdated since there have been a few upgrades since the User's Guide has been released, but both have a similar process. The driver location should be "C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ADS92xx_EVM_GUI\bin\proj_lib\Sparrow\Bootloader"

    Best regards,

    Yolanda
