My customer is looking to replace DS92LV3242 with DS90UB926 for transmitting and receiving video signals as below due to discontinuation of DS92LV3242.

- Resolution : 392 * 392

- Refresh rate : 200Hz

- PCLK : 80MHz

Please review the design below for any issues.

Hey JH,

I'm not sure how customer will be swapping DS92LV3242 with DS90UB926 those are fundamentally different devices unless you mean they are doing a full redesign then that make sense and should use an FPD3 SER.

For 926 Schematic looks ok and PCLK 80 Mhz is supported by 926.

The application that the customer used DS90UB926/DS90UB925 is as follows.

(Infrared camera)(Controller)

They used DS92LV3241/DS92LV3242 before and this application was supported.

Are there any issues?

Hey JH,

It should be ok as long as the FPGA is compatible with RGB parallel signal levels, etc. they would need to check with FPGA vendor but from FPD side this is ok.
