Hi,
I am trying to estimate the "maximum" power consumption on the the device with all the equalization (both transmit/receive), Xpoint and PRBS generator and checker enabled (max of 2 channels) for the power design.
Per the datasheet, the total maximum power consumption per active channel would be =
With CTLE + full DFE + Tx FIR Driver + Cross-point enable = 305mW
PRBS Generator = 315 mW
PRBS checker = 302 mW
Idle power consumption = 525 mW

Total = 1447 mW
=====================================
The current draw numbers in that same table do not specify the voltage rail. Is it 2.5V or something else? Pl. let me know what it is so that I can reconcile this information with the power consumption numbers that are called out ( shown in the previous screen shot- Section 7.5 electrical characteristics).
