Tool/software:
Hello,
I just received the LM8335EVM. Where can I find a link for downloading the PC software (GUI)?
There seems to be no link in User Guide nor on info page of LM8335EVM.
Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,
I found firmware through the zip file in this e2e thread.

Please let me know if this helps.

Hello Tyler,
many thanks for your answer!
I am not searching the firmware for the MSP430 (this is also good, but not at the first steps).
I am searching the PC software mentioned as GUI in the User Manual.
At the moment I have the brand-new-delivered PCB, connect it to PC, I see it via device manager,
but have no way to control the MSP430 and further RFFE device from PC side.
This is like buying a car, getting it delivered, but no keys are available at all to unlock the car or start the motor...
I can't understand why it is not linked at a famous place (directly in User Manual) or can be downloaded like the User Manual itself. Or like a diskette/CD together with PCB in earlier days.
How have other customers of the LM8335EVM solved this?
Best regards,
Martin
Hi Martin,
I am looking internally for this GUI. Please allow some more time.

Tyler
Hi Martin,
I am not sure of the longevity of this part and may be a reason why support for this part has been reduced.
Here is the zip file containing the LM8335EVM GUI. I believe this is the original file.

Tyler
Hello Tyler,
many thanks for the zipfile. It worked! I was able to install and start the GUI.
Meanwhile I was able to control the GPIOs via RFFE as well as reading version ids out of LM8335.
Best regards,
Martin
