DP83822I: May I have two AC blocking capacitors between two DP83822s?

Part Number: DP83822I

Tool/software:

Hallo!

When using DP83822 as an EtherCAT PHY and connecting signals between boards, I am considering configuring a circuit using capacitor coupling, referring to the TI document (AN-1519 DP83848 PHYTER Transformerless Ethernet Operation).

Question 1
When connecting boards, should there be only one AC blocking capacitor between the PHYs?

Question 2
Is it okay to connect a capacitor to each of the two PHYs and connect them board-to-board?

Question 3
Is it okay for the capacitance of the two capacitors to be 0.1uF each?

Thank you for your reply.
