Hi,

For transformer less Ethernet application AN-1519 Application report says to use DC blocking capacitors of 33nF.

Could you please recommend suitable part numbers for 33nF capacitors ? My Isolation requirement is min.1500 Vrms.

Thanks David.
But, this Murata capacitor has rated voltage is only 10V so, how it will withstand for high voltage (for ex.: 500Vrms) and provides Isolation ?

Hi Prasad

For DP83822I, we changed the AC coupling capacitor requirement for 33nF to 0.1uF. For 0.1uF capacitor and to meet 500Vrms requirement, you could use 2220Y2K00104KXTWS3 which has a 2kV DC rating.
