We are experiencing malfunctions when using a PCI card with a PCI Bridge via the relevant Bridge on our company’s board.
The malfunctioning card is the Adaptec AUA-3020, which includes USB and IEEE 1394 interfaces. While the OS recognizes the card itself as well as connected USB memory and 1394 HDD devices, accessing the USB memory causes the OS to freeze (not a BSOD, but it becomes unresponsive). The 1394 interface works without issues.
Our board provides three slots downstream of the XIO2001, and the same behavior occurs regardless of which slot is used.
The external ROM for the XIO2001 is not connected, and all other settings are left at their default values.
The OS is Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 64-bit, and the platform is Raptor Lake.
If you have any information regarding malfunctions with the combination of XIO2001 and PCI cards with bridges, or if there are any specific settings that need to be configured, we would greatly appreciate your guidance.
