DS90CP22: Finding crosspoint switch

Part Number: DS90CP22
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS25CP102, TMUX121, TMUXHS4446

Tool/software:

Dear Technical Support Team,

I'm finding following crosspoint switch

・Differential signal (0.6V-1.2V, terminated at 1.2V/50Ω pull-up on the receiving IC)

・Signal bandwidth: approximately 1Gbps

・Two outputs per one input (1:2 distribution)

I think DS90CP22 and DS25CP102 seems to be good for them.

If you have any recommendation for these requeiment, please let me know.

Best Regards,

ttd

  • Hi TTD,

Will the TMUX121 work for you? This is a 2 channel 2:1 switch with 3GHz bandwidth that can pass differential signals.

  • Hi Katy,

Thank you for your reply. Interface is CML. 1.2V/50Ω pull-up on the receiver, so I need to no internal pullup crosspooint switch.

Is there good device for required spec?

・Differential signal (0.6V-1.2V, terminated at 1.2V/50Ω pull-up on the receiving IC) ⇒hope no internal pullup

    ・Signal bandwidth: approximately 1Gbps(CML)

・Two outputs per one input (1:2 distribution) ⇒ I think 2x2 crosspoint switch can select 1:2

  • Hi TTD,

TMUXHS4446 might be a good option for you - it is a 10Gbps crossbar switch that supports differential signaling with a common mode voltage from 0 to 1.8V. It has a 4:6 configuration, so could be used as a 1:2 if desired.
