DS110DF410: Default State of Device After Initial Power-up

Tool/software:

We are planning our initial hardware checkout of a new circuit board that uses the DS110DF410SQE/NOPB and would like to know if we need our software team to program this device after power-up in order for the device to be fully functional.  Will the power-on state of the device be functional, meaning that we can pass data through it at a 10G data rate?  Ideally, we are hoping that the Figure of Merit Adaptation is enabled by default.

    Hi Matt,

    By default, this device will lock to 10.3125 Gbps and 1.25 Gbps using adapt mode 1.

    For optimal functionality, you should expect some additional device configuration may be required.  For example, you may want to adjust VOD, de-emphasis, or select adapt mode 2.
