Hi Team,

In below thread, it is recommended not to use the part with all center taps shorted.

But, center taps are shorted in TMDS64EVM. Could you please clarify?

Hi Srikanth,

For Ethernet PHY design recommendation, please refer to the DP83867EVM design instead of the TMDS64EVM.
Please use magnetics with center taps not shorted ideally.
