I took over this task. The phy driver was compiling by removing all instances of the ack_interrupt from the code. But with the delivered device tree I can't get it working.

I tried to 

  • compile it into the kernel & as a kernel module
  • different compatibility options
  • I was checking this post as well ( DP83TC812S-Q1: DP83TC812S drivers ) and tested the other driver code published there.
  • enable the handle_interrupt entry in both options (from git and the last point)

non of them was successful. It seems like the driver is not even probed. Is there any compatible driver for this Linux version available?
