Please confirm TCAN1044 will support +/-55V DC or 30V AC on CAN H and CAN L bus ?

Yes the device can support any < 58 V, please help see the below from the data sheet or the abs max ratings, thanks.

Hi Saravanakumar,

30 V AC implies +/- 30 V and within the abs max rating for +/- 58 V. Hence, no concern for damages, thanks.

If our requirement is 30V AC, frequency < 5kHz. This chip is capable of handling this ?

Yes, no concerns alternating between -30 V to 30 V as this is within -58 V to 58 V, thanks.
