TCAN4551-Q1: Integrate the TCAN4551-Q1 drive not working

Posting on behalf of our customer.

i am try to integrate the  TCAN4x5x plugin  with version:"TCAN4x5x_AUTOSAR_4_2_1_DRIVERS_FINAL_V7_0" to EB tresos  for performance  evaluation ,but it does not working. 

from the log we can see the Tx buffer Reequest Pending(0x10CC) is set. but no message send out and no interrupt was generated.

the log: "TT" means Trcv module Transmit, "TR" means Trcv module receive, "CNT" means the data coutner, "Dat": means read or write data.  "CT" means controler mode transmit, "CR" menas controller module read. the max dalenth is 4 words. exceed 4 words not printed.

  • we monitor  the  signal with scope, and found the signal was send out ,but the canoe can not received.  we checked no ACK. at last we found the TX and RX have been reversed. after reversed the Tx and Rx. the data can be  send out successfully.    But i still can't understand the data information  in the address 80C8, seems no detail description in the datasheet.  

     

    by the way, the nINT(PIN8)  always low level, and can't auto   automatically turns to high level。

    The TCAN4551-Q1 datasheet does provide a listing of the different SPI address ranges and their functions in section 8.5.2.  Address Range 0x8000 to 0x87FF is the MRAM space that is used for the various MCAN elements such as RX and TX Buffer elements, TX FIFO Event elements, and RX Message Filter elements, etc.

    by the way, the nINT(PIN8)  always low level, and can't auto   automatically turns to high level。

    The nINT pin is the Logical OR of registers 0x0820 and 0x0824.  Any set bits in these two registers that were not masked off will cause the nINT pin to pull low.  In order to release the nINT pin, these bits must be cleared.  

    Register 0x0820 is the Device Level interrupts that are not MCAN related.  If the SPI Error (SPIERR) bit is set, this means that there are bits set in register 0x000C related to SPI Errors.  In order to clear the SPIERR bit in register 0x0820, you must clear the set bits in register 0x000C.

    Register 0x0824 is a read-only copy of the MCAN Interrupt Register 0x1050.  Any set bits in register 0x0824 and 0x1050 must be cleared through a write to 0x1050.
