Hi team,

can THVD8000 support 1000m cable with up to 64 node, any design tips to achieve this?

    Stone,

    In theory it can be done. One of the main things you need to do in the design is keep the carrier frequency low at 125kHz which would limit your max data rate to 12.5kbps. The downside to using a slower carrier frequency is the inductor size will be larger. 

    The other main design tip would be to try to choose cables with low series resistance and terminate the two furthest nodes. If you can find impedance controlled cabling that would be optimal.
