Part Number: DS160PT801
Hi TI team,
I am currently working on the DS160PT801 PCIe retimer and have a few questions regarding configuration using SINCON.
1. EEPROM Programming via SINCON
I am able to use SINCON to modify the device registers successfully. However, I encountered an issue where:
- The register settings do not persist after power cycle
- It seems that the configuration is not written into EEPROM
Could you please advise:
- What is the correct procedure to write register settings into EEPROM using SINCON?
- Are there any specific steps, modes, or commands required to enable EEPROM programming?
- Is there any limitation or requirement (e.g., external EEPROM wiring, write enable, etc.)?
2. Request for Example Configuration (HEX File)
If EEPROM programming via SINCON is not supported or recommended, I would like to request your assistance:
Could you help provide an example HEX configuration file for the following setup?
- PCIe x4 configuration
- REFCLKOUT+/- enabled (clock output active)
- SRIS mode enabled
This would help us:
- Verify our configuration
- Perform further debugging and signal validation
Additional Information
- Device: DS160PT801
- Application: PCIe signal redriving on motherboard / riser card
- Current status: Register configuration works, but not persistent after reboot
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Tai-quan Chen
