Why not use the SN65DSI83-Q1 instead of the SN65DSI84-Q1, given that my TFT module has an 8-bit LVDS interface (single channel)? Will the SN65DSI83-Q1 be able to drive my TFT module, as described in my ticket, just as well as the SN65DSI84-Q1?

    Hi Valentin,

    Thanks for following up! You are correct that the SN65DSI83-Q1 can support your use case. Since your panel is single-LVDS and the typical DCLK is 78.9 MHz, that's supported in the single LVDS range CLK of 25 MHz - 154 MHz.
