TXE8116: TXE8116 Input Compatibility with Slow Devices (Photocoupler Interface)

Part Number: TXE8116

Hi team,

I am planning to use TXE8116 and would like to input a signal from a photocoupler.
My understanding is that a photocoupler is a relatively slow device in terms of signal transition speed.
In this case, is it acceptable to directly connect the output of the photocoupler to the TXE8116 input?
Specifically, I would like to confirm the following:
  • Can TXE8116 correctly recognize slow rise and fall times from devices such as photocouplers?
  • Are there any concerns or limitations when directly interfacing a slow device like a photocoupler?
Best Regards,
Shota
