TCAN1042HV: TCAN1042HV LTSPICE unencrypted model for ringing issue simulation?

We are seeing excessive CAN_L/H ringing when adding Bourns DR331-513AE CAN network choke filtering adding and looping between 2 CAN ports with the TCAN1042HV and the same filtering setup. We can see the ringing in LTSPICE with a LTC2875 part but would like to get a TCAN1042 model to run the same simulation. We were wondering if the TCAN1042 could be at least encrypted to run in LTSPICE?

Otherwise i think there is a TCAN1044A would there be a model of that possible to run in LTSPICE and i guess we evaluate changing to that part.

Hi Eric,

Unfortunately, we mainly provide IBIS models and not other models.

I would further recommend the suggestions from the past post I.e., ensure the bus impedance is for an effective 60 ohms, verify when the nodes are isolated and remove C557, C561 and C562 (if bus caps are used, ensure <100 pF each on CANH and CANL), thanks.

We improved our ringing as we had a 1000pF with ferrite bead filter on CAN lines as well. removing that along with changing the CAN filter CMC part to a Bifilar wound part seems to improve ringing.

I did get an email with a TCAN1044 TCAN1044V: Pspice model - Interface forum - Interface - TI E2E support forums model but didnt get that to work in LTSpice yet.
