Hi,
I need to design a pulsed laser diode driver. Diode consumes typically 20A when it is on and the diode voltage is approximately 2.8V, but the trigger pulse width should not exceed 200ns otherwise diode may be damaged. Which devices and documents should i need to check for that purpose.
Regards,
Anil
Anil,
I believe you would need one of the ONET devices: http://focus.ti.com/paramsearch/docs/parametricsearch.tsp?family=analog&familyId=741&uiTemplateId=NODE_STRY_PGE_T
I will move your thread to the the fiber communication forums for more support.

High Speed Amplifiers
Anil,
The ONET laser drivers are intended for optical fiber communications applications. They are not high current pulsed laser drivers.

Alex.
Hi Anil,
I also need to design such a pulse generator with high current , low output voltage and small pulse width.
Would you please tell me your circuit system ? I dont have any idea.
Thank you
