Part Number: TPS386000
We are using the TPS386000RGPR as the reset supervisor for our processor and would appreciate your guidance regarding the reset output behavior during system boot-up.
In our application, the monitored sense signals are not stable immediately after power-up and remain uncontrolled for a short duration during the boot sequence. To prevent unintended reset assertions during this period, we require the reset output to remain HIGH for the first 4 seconds after power-up, regardless of the status of the sense inputs.
The expected behavior is as follows:
- t = 0 s to 4 s: Reset output must remain HIGH and should not respond to the sense input status.
- t > 4 s: The device should begin monitoring the sense inputs and operate normally based on their programmed thresholds.
Could you please confirm whether this behavior can be achieved using the TPS386000RGPR, either through device configuration?
If feasible, kindly provide the suggested implementation or reference design to achieve this functionality.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to your guidance.
Best Regards,
