Hi,

 I'm working on 8 channel AV encoded output over IP. Each video encoder card provide video over Ethernet. The Encoder doesnot have integrated phy and hence using separate Phy. There is a requirement to combine all 8 outputs to single via one RJ45.

Planning to interface all encoded MII interface of all 8 boards to the 8 port GIGABIT Ethernet transceiver tlk2218and then the ouput is to be connected to RJ45 via magnetic.Attached the general block diagram

Let me the proposed design works out.
