Hello,
Could you please let me know the connection of unused D1,D2 pin of ISO35T ?
Can we float these pins?
Best Regards,
Ryuji

Hi Asaka-san,
First I wanted to make sure you were aware of the fact that we have the ISO35 device. It is not pin to pin equivalent but it is the same device and isolator without the push-pull outputs.
Option 1: Float the D1 and D2 pins. This would use the least amount of power since there would be no loading on these outputs as they switched high and low.
Option 2: Pull the outputs high or low through a resistor. This option would use more power than floating the outputs option since the resistor would sink current when the output was in the opposite state, but I believe it would most likely radiate less noise.
Thanks,
John
I have attached the EVM reference design in pdf-format. It shows how D1 and D2 connect ot a center-tapped transformer.

Thomas
I'm sorry the 1st post didn't seem to make it through. Here I try again.
Kind regards, Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Asaka-san wanted to know what to do if the D1 and D2 outputs were not going to be used.
Thanks,
John
connect D1 via 1k to 5k to Vcc, and the same for D2.
Cheers, Thomas
