TPL0401A question

Hello.

TPL0401A isn't moving, so I'm in trouble.

CPU(FreeScal MPC866PCVR100A I2C → TPL0401A data Write
CPU(FreeScal MPC866PCVR100A I2C → TPL0401A data Read(For written data acknowledge)

Write data、data Read、 It isn't identical.

Would it be understood about the cause?
Is a device destroying?

For more information, attached file.

Thank you.

  • Masazumi-san,

I've moved this post to the I2C Forum, where I believe the TPL0401A is supported.

However, if you have a problem writing to the device and reading back the same information, I recommend getting an oscilloscope or logic analyzer to make sure you are writing what you think you are writing. I would check all the timing information, the I2C slave address (and any other I2C addresses on the bus) and make sure that the device and master are both ACKing the communication.

If you are able to plot them, you should post the plots of the digital communication back in the reply post.

  • Masazumi-san,

Everything looks good on the waveforms that you provided, so I'm not seeing any errors there. Are there any other devices attached to your I2C line other than TPL0401A?

    Thanks,
    Siby
