Hi Sir,
Sorry to bother you,
We have try DP159RGZ(48 pin) EVM.
We very sure the input signal is 4k/2k but after DP159EVM, the resolution will down to 1080p.
Have any setting on EVM? Or any possible will make this phenomenon?? Like cable or ????

Hi Shu-Cheng,
DP159 is just a redriver/retimer it can't change the resolution.
However in HDMI 2.0 the bits per clock increases from 10 to 40, if you see the same video with lower resolution you have to check your video source.
If you see a different video from the one you are sending this could be the problem, perhaps DP159 is not configuring correctly, how are you connecting DDC?
Could you check TMDS_CLOCK_RATIO_STATUS = 1?
Regards
Garcia,
We have asked them to modify DP159RGZEVM as attached file.
Now they can work at 4k2k 30Hz, but customer's current solution can work at 4k2k 60Hz.
I am confirming TMDS_CLOCK_RATIO_STATUS = 1? with them, meanwhile could you provide any idea that might cause 30Hz frame rate??

Gracia,
Yes, customer's data source can support HDMI2.0.
their system can work with competitor solution @ 4k2k 60Hz.
I want to try TMDS_CLOCK_RATIO_STATUS = 1, is this setting need Eyescan??
If yes, please provide Eyescan GUI and user manual to me.
thanks~
Marco
Garcia,
thanks~ I just follow default setting and modify as attachment show on DP159 EVM.
I can check detail EVM setting with customer tomorrow.
