USB 2 MDIO Source code

hi,

we need to develop the USB 2 MDIO function, thus i download the snoc034a.zip from TI website, after installation, i found there is no source code inside of my install path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\USB2MDIOTool\MSP430 Firmware", there's only .hex file there.

i need to do some modify to fit my application.

And also i need the GUI's source code, thank you.

Hi Erik,

I believe that TI intentionally does not provide the source code for either the MSP430 device or GUI: e2e.ti.com/.../504853

I will move this thread to the Ethernet Forum for further advice.

Hi,

Ryan is correct in that we do not share source files. We intentionally provide only executable and hex files. The hex file is for the MSP430.

Can you let me know why you need the source files?

The GUI allows you to access the extended register set of our PHYs by selecting 'Yes' under the "Extended Register" drop-down box.
