Hi,
I am trying to connect the TPS65982 EVM via Aardvark using host interface tools GUI, but I got the error message shown below. I did trid to choose different ports for either SPI or I2C, but still got the error.
Note: The compuer I am using is Toshiba Portege Z930 and the OS is Windows 7 64 bit. I have installed the driver for Aardvark and the comptuer does recognizes it, which is shown below.
If anyone got the similar problem and knows how to solve it, please let me know. I appriciate it.
Both I2C and SPI ports should be "0" for Aardvark. It appears that the aardvark.dll file is missing from your directory. Using the TotalPhase Aardvark adaptor requires a few additional steps as outlined in section 5 of the TPS6598x Utilities Tool User's Guide (http://www.ti.com/tool/tps65982-hiutility). In short, you will need to go to the TotalPhase USB Drivers website and download the Aardvark driver + software files. You will then need to copy two of the files (aardvark.dll and aardvark_py.py) into the scripts folder.
If this does not work, please also confirm that you are using the latest available version of the TPS6598x Host Interface Utilities Tool.
