Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

We bought DS80UB928 EVM, but we found there different between user guide and our EVM

The input voltage user guide is show 5v

But we our EVM is show 12v. It's confuse us.

Could you help check it?

Shucheng,
As changing some devices in the EVM board, the power supply is diff., please use +12V in your case if your board shows +12V input in the supply pin. other circuits, including UB928 external circuits and relative setting are same as the user guide. thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

We have tried external 12v/5v, but still doesn't have 3.3v and 1.8v output.

Our board is looks very different with EVM user guide(not only 12v)

For our EVM pic, do we need settig anything (Jump or) to let us EVM work?

The board should work with external 3.3V without external 12V input, it is same as user guide description in page22. The power circuit is similar as previous EVM board.

If can't work still, you can check the power socket U8/U9 to get 3.3V output/1.8V correctly?

We need confirm one thing.

Is save when use external 3.3v (jp5) to turn on EVM?
Because on EVM user guide page22, we saw 3.3v looks connect LP38693 output.

We worries it's possible to burn on our EVM if we use external 3.3V (jp5).

It is compatible design between external 3.3V and 5V/12V input. you can check this on-board circuit, it should have one jumper for selection.

also, could you test the power trace to identify the final power supply trace with higher confidence?
